Nybrine

Nybrine has been used as a heat transfer medium in a wide range of business fields for a long period of time. The product mainly consists of quality ethylene glycol or propylene glycol to provide a safe and equipment-friendly heat transfer medium, added by an antiseptic agent, an antirust agent and others. Since the product was developed, it has been used in many business fields as well as air-conditioning, resulting in high evaluation of its superior quality.

  • This grade is superior in antirust effect and physical properties to play an active part in any business scene.

Nybrine NFP (propylene glycol)

Nybrine NFP (propylene glycol)
  • Has been used for business fields that seek human- or nature-friendly properties, including beverage factories, food factories, road heating, and geothermal heat utilizing systems.
  • The grade consists of only substances described in Japan's Specifications and Standards for Food Additives for the safety use.
  • Service temperatures : -40~+50℃
  • Packing : 18 kg (18L) can / 200 kg (200L) drum / IBC

Nybrine G1 (ethylene glycol)

Nybrine G1 (ethylene glycol)
  • Has been used under high-temperature environments such as chemical factories, pharmaceutical factories, and printing factories.
  • This grade includes an anti-rust agent and an additive that may withstand even high temperature to be active in the temperature range from low temperatures to high temperatures.
  • Service temperatures : -40~+110℃
  • Packing : 20 kg (18L) can / 220 kg (200L) drum / IBC

Nybrine RH/RH-P (ethylene glycol/propylene glycol)

Nybrine RH/RH-P (ethylene glycol/propylene glycol)
  • Has been used under high-temperature environments such as road heating, geothermal heat utilizing systems, floor heating, chemical factories, and pharmaceutical factories.
  • This grade is provided with environment-friendly non-amine type products and plays an active role under low and high temperatures.
  • Service temperatures : -40~+90℃

  • Packing : RH-P 18 kg (18L) can / 200 kg (200L) drum / IBC

Bio-Nybrine FPD (1,3-propanediol[plant origin])

  • The use has been expanding in a wide range of business fields, including food factories, beverage factories, geothermal heat utilizing systems, solar thermal utilizing systems, cooling units, and refrigerating equipment.
  • This grade is mainly composed of complete plant-derived glycols to be active under environments with higher level of required safety than conventional products.
  • The next generation type brine is an environmental footprint reducing product with lower viscosity at a lower temperature and higher stability against heat than products that are mainly composed of polypropylene glycol.
  • Service temperatures : -20~+50℃

Cleaning and replacement process

If a new solution of Nybrine is used, cleaning may be necessary in an equipment system to maintain safety and corrosion resistance for a long period of time. Nybrine Department performs not only delivery operation but cleaning, replacement and effluent treatment all together. As there are many cases where cleaning or replacement is required for the following situation, contact the Nybrine Department for more information.

  1. When Nybrine new solution is added or supplemented
  2. When a deteriorated solution is replaced with a new solution
  3. When the system is significantly contaminated due to the use of calcium or others
